Here is the story on how the American Summer shirt came to life...
I was just doing my thing one day, and had music videos going on in the background.
Harry Styles "American Girls' music video rolled into my feed.
The video was hilarious. This guy was playing an actor who couldn't even ride a dirt bike and had to have a stunt double do it for him. I was kinda hooked. 🤣 And for a sec I thought, "what a loser' haha!!
The song itself was kinda good though, actually.
...His friends are falling in love with American girls.
And why wouldn't they?! They're SO fun.
That's when then the picture flashed before my eyes...
...an 80s dirt biking chick riding a two stroke...
I drew it.
And made it a shirt.
It happened that fast.
In 3 minutes my brain was inspired by a pop star for a bad ass shirt that everyone's been obsessed with since I made it.
I won't judge how ideas come to me. But I love when they do.
Riding dirt bikes is fun. And having ideas for Factory V is fun too.
So... thank you Harry Styles... 🤣🤣🤣
